The Experience Studio is an interactive course comprising guest lectures and critiques by industry professionals. As an interior architecture major, you’ll conduct field observations and meet civic leaders. You’ll explore a chosen theme — such as Designing for 2040, Climate Change, Migration, and COVID Response. You’ll work with a mentor on a project of your own and you’ll observe and comment on the work of your peers.
The Experience Studio follows the 5 parts of design processes:
- Part 1: Define the “problem”
- Part 2: Innovate seeks new ways of approach
- Part 3: Create using methods of prototyping and fabrication
- Part 4: Communicate your design accurately for a variety of audiences
- Part 5: Reflect and acknowledge, obtain feedback
