Ryleigh Brown, who also goes by Ryleigh Shea, is originally from South Bend, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from Indiana University of South Bend in 2022. Following graduation, she served as a Student Life Counselor at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities in Muncie, Indiana, and completed an undergraduate residency at the South Bend Museum of Art.

In August 2024, Ryleigh relocated to Seattle to pursue a Master of Arts in Arts Leadership at Seattle University, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2026. She is committed to continued growth and engagement within the arts community. Outside of her academic and professional work, she enjoys reading and exploring the city, drawing inspiration from both local experiences and broader travels.
