Summer@Cornish

School of Creative Arts

Summer at Cornish 2023

July 10 – August 5

Summer@Cornish is an intensive program for teens to develop their artistry in a professional learning environment.

Our Approach

We believe that creative learning is a balance of technical skill development in a core artistic discipline while building creative expression through multiple artistic modalities. The 21st century artist works in cross-discipline environments which often involve a creative mix of music, drama, drawing, film, and storytelling.  As the only performing and visual arts college in the Pacific Northwest, Cornish offers a unique approach to summer arts learning by encouraging teens to mix and match courses over four weeks which culminate in community celebrations with families and new friends.

Participants ages 14 – 18 can select an all-day program with a morning foundation course and 2  afternoons electives weekly, or just one elective two afternoons a week.
