Susan Boye's practice centers on drawing and exploring perceptions of time, space, and object. Originally from Denmark, Boye has worked professionally as a printmaker at Stone Press Editions in Seattle, where she collaborated with noted artists Jacob Lawrence and Dale Chihuly in processing and printing lithographic editions of their work.
Boye has also worked as an illustrator, contributing thirty color illustrations to a children’s book published in Denmark. Her work has been shown locally in COCA Gallery, Stone Press Gallery, Fountainhead Gallery, Tacoma Art Museum, and Whatcom Museum in Bellingham, as well as in galleries across the country. Several of her monotypes can be found in the City of Seattle’s Portable Work collection.
