Rebecca Bridge

Rebecca Bridge is a writer, painter, mother, and metalsmith. She is the author of several books, including A Month’s Worth of Instructional Poems, Clear Out the Static in Your Attic: A Writer’s Guide to Turning Artifact into Art, and Write Bloody, as well as the director of the award-winning short film Wednesday’s Child. Her teaching focuses on analytical and rhetorical strategies in writing and communication, poetry, creative non-fiction, fiction writing, and literature of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Her work can be found in the Boston Review, Conjunctions, Indiana Review, Madison Review, Gawker, Monarch Review, Columbia Poetry Review, and Sixth Finch, among others. She has previously taught at the University of Iowa, Trinity Lutheran College, and Cascadia Community College.
