Leanna Keith is a flutist, improviser, and composer in the Seattle area. As an educator, Keith has taught workshops across the US and Canada on technique and tone, extended techniques, composer collaboration, improvisation, and world flutes. In her studio, each student is taught a unique program that is specifically designed to encourage their interests while maintaining a high standard of technique.
Keith is dedicated to playing music by composers who are still living, and advocates for the use of music as social activism. She co-directs the arts organization Kin of the Moon, alongside fellow Cornish College of the Arts instructors Heather Bentley and Kaley Lane Eaton.
