L.B. Morse is a lighting, scenic, and multimedia designer for the performing and cultural arts, and is a proud member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829. Regionally he has designed for Seattle Rep, 5th Avenue Theatre, ACT Theatre, Village Theatre, Intiman, Seattle Children’s Theater, Strawberry Theatre Workshop, Seattle Shakespeare Company, and On the Boards, among others. Nationally he has designed for Pittsburgh Public Theater, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, UCSB Launch Pad, and Tantrum Theatre. In the installation and corporate event world he has designed for Microsoft (with Yeager Design), Woodland Park Zoo, KO Projects, TPN, and The Workshop.
L.B. spent 18 seasons on staff at Seattle Rep, during which time he served as Resident Designer (creating over 40 lighting, scenic, and multimedia designs during his tenure), ran the Lighting/Projections department, and mentored 17 early career lighting designers through the Rep's Performing Arts Training Program.
