Jeffrey David Schick is a screenwriter and film director. As the founder and executive producer of Audio Video Room, he leads a team focused on film, TV, and stage productions. His films Halo, Hatch, Swipe, and The Calling have garnered global acclaim, winning awards for Best Picture and Audience Favorite at various festivals. His TV pilot, The Source, and dark comedy, Psyched, reached semifinalist status in ScreenCraft’s annual screenwriting competitions. Before the writer’s strike, he wrote a spec script for Season 3, Episode 1 of The White Lotus and is currently developing a half-hour sitcom about cancel culture in Hollywood. He has previously worked in marketing roles for Amazon, Apple, Adidas, and T-Mobile. As an LGBTQ+ creator, he is inspired to create stories about underdogs who defy genres, challenge societal norms, and provide glimpses into humanity’s potential. He believes Movement is Medicine.
