Hannah Colopy

Hannah Colopy specializes in treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries and has a special interest in dance medicine and injury prevention. She grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C. and spent eight years living in North Carolina, where she earned her Doctoral Degree in physical therapy from Duke University and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in dance, from University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She first developed my passion for movement through 18 years of training in classical ballet and contemporary dance. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including the orthopedic and performing arts special interest groups. She is also a member of Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine where she serves on their community outreach and education committee and co-chair the research committee.
