Theater Floor Staff (2x ST/FED)

Position starts at $18.00 per hour.

Job Description:

THEATER FLOOR STAFF are dedicated to making our patrons’ experiences as positive as possible when they join us in our theater. This position is primarily present during performance shifts to serve concessions and loan out accessibility devices, but they are also responsible for assisting in the set up and breakdown of various lobby functions from concessions to small events. This is a part-time position that works for the duration of our 2022-2023 Season, which begins in September 2022 and is scheduled to end approximately in early June 2023.

Educational Benefits:

While working as FLOOR STAFF, students get active experience in cash handling, serving and events based work. As a Seattle Rep employee, you are also paid to get trained in de-escalation and First-Aid/AED. Seattle Rep values emerging artists and production professionals and continues to work on ways for networking opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

MAST and Washington State Food Handler’s certification (Training can be provided). Availability to work a flexible and irregular schedule, primarily evening and weekend hours. Genuine interest in theater and working with the public. Ability to stand and walk for up to four hours, as well as move furniture, stock, and boxes weighing up to fifty pounds. We are particularly interested in candidates who are able and willing to acquire a Class 12 MAST Permit, and would be comfortable performing light bartending duties.
