Build it from Home: Exploration of Recycled Art

Class Description

This course will stoke creative thinking through reimagining the use of recyclable materials. Throughout art history, artists from various cultures use what is readily available to create functional objects, costumes, props, and sculptures. Students will work with the instructor who will present strategies for construction, problem-solving, and the history of reuse. Basic art materials and common office supplies combined with recyclable goods will be our tools for inspiration.
