Two Seattle Dance visionaries, Heather Kravas and Tonya Lockyer, are in residence with Cornish Dance Theater students this fall experimenting with patterns of movement and energy in Cornish's 9th Avenue Gallery.

A web of interconnectedness reflects performance histories and how a small change can make a world of difference. Energetic patterns meet ghosts of Beckett, Bruce Nauman, hip hop and performance dance.

Be Sides by Heather Kravas in collaboration with the dancers. Original sound by Dana Wachs/Vorheestwo. Discreet dances unfold in time and space, to be contemplated simultaneously by the performers and audience. Like weather systems across a vast expanse, the improvised and choreographed structures feature anomalous shapes, and ecstatic pony prances. Choreographed by Heather Kravis in collaboration with the dancers.
