The Best Gifts are Student Made
Searching for that perfect last minute Christmas gift? Look no further than the Cornish Community—as many students, faculty, and staff sell their art online. Skip the hustle and bustle of malls and department stores, and look to the art world for a unique gift you can’t get anywhere else.
Online shopping has taken the stress out of Christmas gifting for many, and for artists, platforms like Etsy offer a way to sell their art without the associated costs of a brick and mortar store or pop-up gallery or market. During the pandemic, when many are still putting in-person holiday celebrations on hold and opting for virtual alternatives, online shopping offers a cost effective way to have your gifts shipped directly to the receiver—you can often even have them gift wrapped.
Art is a great gift for anyone, as it shows a personal touch so often lacking in store bought goods and puts money directly into the artist’s pocket. While there are no shortage of creatives at Cornish selling their work online, here are just a few offering their works this holiday season.
