Cornish College of the Arts Welcomes the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities to Campus

Seattle- On April 7 – 9, 2021, an accreditation evaluation team from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will be virtually visiting Cornish College of the Arts (Cornish) to confirm and verify the content of the College’s Comprehensive Self-Evaluation Report. Cornish has been accredited by the NWCCU since 1974. The College’s accreditation status was most recently reaffirmed in spring 2016 after the acceptance of its Mid-Cycle Self-Evaluation Report.

In preparation for this periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency, Cornish invites comments from the public. Interested parties can submit any signed, written comments to the:

The Commission must receive comments no later than March 7, 2021. The NWCCU will consider all comments about Cornish’s qualifications for accreditation. All signed comments will be forwarded as received to the College, the evaluation committee, and the Northwest Commission.
