My fiction and creative nonfiction has appeared in Web Conjunctions, jubilat, Tammy, Open Letters Monthly, and other publications; I've also recently completed a book-length essay braiding together personal narrative and a critical consideration of Sally Rooney’s novel Conversations with Friends. I've been awarded residencies by Rockland Woods, Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts & Agriculture, and Fishtrap. Besides teaching writing at Cornish, I lead creative writing classes at Hugo House and in the UW Robinson Center's Summer Stretch Program. I've also recently taught in Bard College's Language & Thinking Program and at the Washington Corrections Center for Women through the Freedom Education Project Puget Sound.
