Carl Bronsdon has been a scenic and costume designer for professional and educational theatre companies in the Seattle area for many years, designing and constructing productions for companies such as Seattle Symphony, the Bathhouse Theatre, the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Seattle Musical Theatre, Shoreline Community College, and Bellevue College, among others. Carl has worked at Cornish for the past 24 years. He is the Costume Shop Supervisor and teaches costume construction. Carl graduated from Cornish in 1992, with a BFA in Performance Production.

Carl is an accomplished miniaturist, making and selling his work for the past 30 years both nationally and internationally, as well as teaching classes on miniature-making. His specialty is working with polymer clay to create food, candy and holiday items. Many of his pieces incorporate his training and work as a theatre designer, using scale, color, and texture to enhance his work. He is also an avid collector of miniatures, vintage textiles, and antique holiday décor.
