Abigail Platter represents ideas through technical craft, conceptual thinking, and visual storytelling. She teaches at multiple institutions in the Seattle area, and has been an illustrator and educator for 10 years. Grief House, her first solo show, opened on Feb. 12, 2022 in the Nickerson Studios at Seattle Pacific University. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Illustration because of her passion for representational painting and the use of semiotics in cultural contexts. She loves illustration, coffee, and being outside.
