With an average class size of 15 students, the music program at Cornish offers a highly personalized learning experience. This intimate setting fosters close mentorship from faculty, who are all distinguished professionals actively engaged in the music industry.
You’ll participate in solo and ensemble performances, compose original music and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects with students from dance, theater, film and other departments. Additionally, you’ll explore experimental music practices and have opportunities to perform with technology.
Through the program, you will gain real-world professional experience by performing and interning at some of Seattle’s most iconic music venues, record labels and arts organizations.
