notes, Craigslist missed connections, and other tender statements onto collected fabrics, Idalis Madrigal (2019) shares intimate pathways through grief, fear, love and longing. Between material degradation, accrued image and the act of recollection, Kate Stutzman’s (2023) textile works express personal attitudes towards family, preservation and belonging.
