Associate of Arts (AA) in Interior Architecture

Associate of Arts (AA) in Interior Architecture

  • Program Interior Architecture
  • Pathway Associate of Arts (AA)

The two-year Degree provides students both an introduction to a career trajectory and a means to obtain new critical thinking and creative skills with which to express their artistry and knowledge. During the two-year program, students will gain knowledge of human activities within the built environment. Projects will engage them to explore new and improved methods for well-being and lifestyle; these also provide an understanding of construction methods to the objects that reflect its occupants. Therefore, each course and its content is designed to allow students to contribute to their communities through a social-minded design practice.

Students entering the program will begin at Level 200 and complete at Level 300 courses. The IA department and the new two-year IA degree are positioned for creative collaborations across the department’s “Experience Studio” in which all levels, sophomore-to senior-year, share guest lectures and critiques provided by industry professionals.
