Summer at Cornish

Join us in Seattle to discover a new art form — hone your audition and portfolio pieces, make new strides in dance, learn from renowned musicians and dive
into theater.

Cornish College of the Arts is the Northwest’s premier visual and performing arts college. We offer a variety of courses and workshops for high school students, adults, and children. Summer at Cornish places you in classes with professional artists to hone your creative skills, gain a depth of knowledge about a particular arts discipline, and — for high school students — earn college credit and experience college life!

Summer at Cornish offers a variety of courses for artists of all age ranges and levels. Courses vary in price from $125 to $2000. If tuition is paid in full by May 2, 2014, a 10% discount is available. View individual course listing for specifics. Housing and Scholarships are available for students ages 15 to 18.

Our 2014 Programs

  1. Art & Design
    July 7 – August 8

    The Art & Design program is designed to help students ages 15 to 18 unlock artistic talent and provide you with the skills and tools of the visual arts.

  2. Dance
    June 2 – August 29

    The Dance program offers dancers age 3.5 to adults a variety of workshops and intensives designed to encourage personal development and sense of artistic expression.

  3. Interdisciplinary
    May 24 – June 20

    Interdisciplinary programs offer students of all age ranges the opportunity to explore links between written, visual, media and performance arts.

  4. Music
    May 24 – August 22

    The Music program offers aspiring musicians ages 12 to adults immersive, one and two-week learning experiences.

  5. Theater
    July 7 – August 8

    The Theater program is designed to help students ages 15 to 18 focus on fundamentals of the craft — acting, movement and speech.
