Stage to Studio is an exciting two week camp where students form bands, write an original song, then go into the studio to make a professional recording. This one-of-a kind opportunity affords students a real-life recording experience with industry pros who work with Atlantic, Interscope and Sony records. We have a fun and contemporary approach to fundamental musical skills like ear training, interval studies, the ins and outs of chords and scales, composition, lyric writing and arrangement. We'll also delve into the studio and cover the basics of audio production like recording fundamentals, mics, hardware, software, mixing, multi- tracking and studio etiquette. Our Intensive concludes with each band performing their song on- stage and showcasing their recording in front of an audience of family and friends. Bands of all kinds are also encouraged to sign up as a well.
