Interim Professor of Dance
Michele Ainza is a dance & somatic educator, director and artist with an MFA in Choreography from CalArts, CLMA from IMS based out of the University of Utah, BFA in Dance from Ohio University and holds a 500 E-RYT & YACEP certification via Yoga Alliance. Her past notable academic positions are as follows: Professor and Artistic Director of Dance at Fresno City College, Guest Artist and Professor of Dance & Somatics at the University of Veracruz, MX, Artistic Director of Dance at Willamette University, Director of Dance at Linfield College, and more. She is the Artistic Director of MADE, which is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary project that focuses on the deconstruction and abstraction of social and political issues with past performances throughout the United States, Mexico, and Eastern Europe. Lastly, Michele is the Director of Embodied Practice RYS.
