Katjana Vadeboncoeur is a director, performer, and event producer who has taught at Cornish College of the Arts since 2006. She is an associate member of SDC, and has directed for Artswest, Book-It Repertory, the University of Washington, Washington Ensemble Theater, and Second Story Repertory. Vadeboncoeur was the director of National Touring Programs at California Theater Center before moving to the Northwest and finding a collaborative home at Washington Ensemble Theatre, where she served as co-artistic director for four seasons. She was the recipient of the "2011 4Culture Individual Artist Grant Award" for the West Coast Premiere of The Beebo Brinker Chronicles, which ran at Rebar and ACT.
She has taught at the University of Washington, the Northwest School, Seattle Shakespeare, and Seattle Center Academy, and toured five solo shows nationally for over a decade as a historical teaching artist with Living Voices. Vadeboncoeur co-founded Revel Rouser Events, and has worked as an event producer for TEDx Seattle, McCaw Hall, and the TPS Gregory Awards, and has produced, performed, and emceed countless burlesque cabaret shows as her alter ego Cherry Manhattan.
