Jaclyn Stapp

Jaclyn Stapp is delighted to continue her journey at Cornish as a private voice instructor. Previous positions at Cornish include Associate Music Director, instructor for Music Theory for Musical Theater, and Ensemble Singing and Harmony courses. She received her Master of Music from Oklahoma City University, where she studied with master teacher Florence Birdwell.
Since, Jaclyn performed in NYC for a number of years, gaining experience in regional theaters, internationally with Holland America Line Cruises, and featured performances including the United Nations in Vienna, Austria.
Jaclyn taught at various music schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Connecticut, throughout the Dallas metroplex, and most recently Village Theater’s Institute Program in Issaquah. Her students have advanced to perform on Broadway, Broadway tours, off-Broadway, and commercial work. Additionally, Jaclyn has music directed several projects, taught piano, and developed innovative musical theatre class curriculum.
