Animation Instructor

Aaron Kapral

Aaron Kapral is a freelance artist with a focus on 3D characters, rigging, and animation. His passion for 3D led him to become a teaching assistant during his undergraduate and graduate programs. There he developed an interest in facilitating and uplifting his peers through art and technology. By 2023, he had four published games with several more in the works--collaborating and growing with his coworkers.

Kapral attended two Summer at Cornish sessions during high school and fell in love with Cornish College of the Arts. During that time, he explored interdisciplinary passions in photography, comics, apparel, animation, and drawing. He holds degrees in Digital Technology & Cultures and Japanese Language & Culture from Washington State University and received his Master's in Entertainment Art & Engineering from the University of Utah in 2021. Now, he has returned to Cornish to teach where he hopes to continue to facilitate students' passions in 3D art, games, technology, and culture.
