The Art of the Poster

Class Description
This course focuses on poster design using hand-drawn imagery and expressive typography. The class will examine the graphic design creative process in developing conceptual work. Students will have the opportunity to learn screen-printing principles and techniques while producing and printing their own work.
Posters can be a personal form of expression, political opinions, or a simple informational message. Learn how to design in your choice of format and media conceptually before printing. This course will expose you to design concepts used by professional marketing and artist professionals to give you the skills to grow a hobby or add this to your professional skill set.
