Creativity and Watercolor

Class Description

This course is for anyone interested in reinforcing creativity as a daily practice. You’ll pull from your own everyday observations and personal life stories to create several original “non-masterpieces”. We’ll be using watercolor as the primary medium—because it’s fast-drying, relatively affordable, versatile and fun. And because of its unpredictable nature, it’s great for a course focusing on experimentation and the beauty of imperfection.

While not a traditional watercolor class, each meeting will include demos (watercolor, drawing, ink, gouache) exercises in creativity, group discussion, and feedback on weekly assignments.
