Class Description

We offer a few different enrollment points throughout the year.  Please contact us at preparatorydance@cornish.edu for more information.

This class meets 4x per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Ballet 7 offers the serious dance student the tools to grow as an artist and an individual.  Expanded ballet vocabulary and added emphasis on artistry, create a rigorous environment for students.  At this level, each student has many opportunities to expand their interest in dance by investing in a multi-disciplined program. Classes offered include Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary Modern, Jazz and master classes with outside artists. Students at this level are invited to perform with the Cornish Preparatory Dance Program’s Company 1. Company 1 performs in the Spring Concert, giving these advanced students the chance to become more fully-realized dancers.
