Scott’s best-known theater work, Das Barbecu!, was commissioned by Seattle Opera in 1991 and enjoyed it’s Off-Broadway production at the Minetta Lane theater in 1994. Other musicals include: The Plexiglass Slipper, Living Color, World’s Fair Cruise, HappyPants!, Lights, The Book of James, Blankity-Blank, The Texas Chainsaw Manicurist and Busload of Blonds. He has musical direction and compositional credits at such theaters as A Contemporary Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Empty Space Theater, Dallas Theater Center, Asolo Repertory, Center Stage in Baltimore, Cleveland Opera, and Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut. He has a degree in Music Education from Seattle Pacific University.
