Kate Myre have lived and worked in Seattle for nearly 20 years as a stage actor and voice over talent. In addition to her extensive work nationally as a voice over artist, Kate’s selected regional stage credits include: Seattle Public Theater’s Boston Marriage, Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Lady Macbeth, Boston’s Publick Theatre as Rosalind in As You Like It, The Boston Repertory Theatre in Baby With The Bathwater, Chiswick Park Theatre Company as Ann in All my Sons, StageWest in Massachusetts as Elsa in The Road to Mecca. Seattle Shakespeare Company as Gremio and Hortensio in Taming of the Shrew . Kate also served for several seasons as SSF’s company vocal coach. In 1996, she had the honor of meeting Arthur Miller and performing the role of Patricia in his play The Last Yankee. With the assistance of Mr. Miller, Kate was brought to New York to recreate the role for the Signature Theatre Company under the direction of Joseph Chaikin. Additionally, Kate has worked with the Seattle Children’s Theatre, ACT, The Village Theater, Seattle Public Theater, The Immediate Theatre, TheBorealis Theater, Theater Scheater, and The Boston Repertory Theatre. At Cornish, Kate has directed The Cripple of Inishmaan, Fen, and Stop Kiss. Kate received her Bachelor of Theater from Willamette University and an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University.
