John Kendall Wilson

Performance Art: History & Theory, Theatre History
John Kendall Wilson holds a BA in Speech and Drama from LaGrange College and an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Georgia. John is a resident dramaturg for the Cornish Theatre Department and currently teaches Theater History, The History and Theory of Performance Art, co-instructs with David Taft in Auto Cours: an introductory course in generative ensemble performance, and does frequent tutorials in dramaturgy, playwriting, and performance analysis. He received the Seafirst Faculty Excellence Award in 1989, and the Cornish College of the Arts Teaching Excellence Award in 2000, 2002, and 2010. He is a co-founder of The Dramaturgy Center (thedramaturgycenter.com) and the artistic director of the Invisible Stray Dog Theatre.
