Aimée Bruneau

Acting
Aimée Bruneau has directed Cornish productions of Mac Wellmans Cleveland, Michel Trembleys Les Belles Soeurs and Caryl Churchills Top Girls, and recently directed The Taming of the Shrew for Seattle Shakespeare Companys Wooden O. A proud fringe veteran, Aimée earned Artistic Pick of the Seattle Fringe Festival and the Artistic Pick Finalist prize for her directing work. Aimée served as Capitol Hill Arts Centers Associate Artistic Director and Managing Director. She earned a Joseph Jefferson Citation for her performance in The Art of Dining and will appear in upcoming A Lie of the Mind with ACTs Central Heating Lab. Aimée was nominated for a 2010 Audie Award for her audiobook narration of The House on Tradd Street. Her next book is So Much Pretty by Cara Hoffman. Aimée has taught at Highline and Shoreline Community Colleges, as well as Seattle University. She was Professor of Acting and Directing at Savannah College of Art & Design and traveled to LaCoste, France with her students in 2007. Aimée Bruneau earned her MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory and her BA in Theatre Arts from Virginia Tech.
