Cornish is committed to making our courses available to youth ages 15 – 18 who demonstrate artistic and academic promise, financial need, and interest in the program by offering modest scholarship assistance.The Music Scholarship deadline has been extended to May 18th, 2012.

Music Department Scholarships
Our Music Department has specialized scholarships made possible by ASCAP, the D’Addario Foundation, and private donations in the following areas:
- Thanks to a generous private donation, the Music Department has two $250 scholarships available for a male singer enrolling in either the Classical Voice Intensive or the Vocal Jazz Workshop. Please complete the Music Department Scholarship Application by June 1, 2012 if you are interested in one of these special scholarships.
- Scholarships are still available for string players (including classical guitar) and composers (including songwriting), so please apply by June 1, 2012. Complete the Music Department Scholarship Application if you are a string player or composer taking one of the courses below:
- Chamber Music Intensive: String Quartets
- Classical Guitar Intensive
- Super Strings
- Songwriting Lab: Sources of Inspiration
- Songwriting and the Recording Experience
- Improvisation for Classical Musicians (strings only)
- Composers Intensive
- Songwriting: Refining What Makes You Unique
- A generous private donation was made for the Classical Persian Music & Poetry Workshop. If you are planning to enroll in this workshop, please complete the Music Department Scholarship Application by June 1, 2012.
Art + Design, Dance, Music and Theater Pre-College Scholarships
Please complete our Summer at Cornish Scholarship Application for consideration. Scholarship applications and materials are due no later than April 1, 2012.
Scholarships for 2012 have already been awarded. Scholarships for our pre-college program will not be available again until 2013.
