Watercolor has long been an ideal medium for illustration and design. Using the inherent speed of transparent watercolor techniques, this class explores realism, illusionism and fantasy.
Careful consideration is given to color theory. Discussion includes various types of illustration, such as product, editorial, scientific, architectural and decorative styles.
Covering both quick color sketches, as well as careful and controlled rendering with intention, the goal will be portfolio ready artwork.
