Students of all disciplines will be trained and empowered to write and create their own short play.
We will discuss, apply and deepen our understanding of character, conflict, plot and setting as the core elements of playwriting.
As each student develops their own theater piece, we will also use theater games, writing exercises and excerpt of plays to inspire us in class.

Tracy Vicory-Rosenquest
Instructor
Tracy Vicory-Rosenquest has been writing and producing her work for nearly a decade. Her plays have been performed with Live Girls! Theater, Macha Monkey Productions, Minnesota & Seattle Fringe Festival, Pacific Play Company and Seattle Playwrights Collective.
She also teaches with ACT Theatre’s Young Playwrights Program and Writers in the Schools. Tracy is a graduate of Seattle Rep’s Teaching Artist Training Lab and received her MFA from Goddard College.
