This experimental drawing intensive allows students to engage with the world in surprising ways as they take a line for a walk off the page and down the street. Students will expand their artistic vocabulary as they experiment with charcoal, ink, light, thread, wire, and tape, as well as invented tools and techniques.

Projects explore chance, game strategies, dimension, scale, mapping, and interacting with existing systems. Through daily projects, one-on-one discussions and critical dialogue, students gain confidence as they explore new avenues of innovative expression.
