Film photography is alive and going strong! In this 4 week class you will learn how to expose, process and print 35 mm and 120mm film in a traditional photography lab. Students will be learning the basics of what makes a great image, from composition and content, to creative camera controls and materials and then take these skills into the darkroom to learn how to make a beautiful, compelling print.
The second half of the class will include photographic image making that does not require a darkroom ie: Cyanotype, selective toning, composting mixed media as well as how to prepare your work for display.
Special attention and information will be given on how students can continue film based art making after leaving the Cornish photography studio.
