Immerse yourself in the world of film photography and its myriad mysterious possibilities in this one-week intensive. In Experimental Film Photography you will learn or hone the basics of darkroom photography through film-developing and darkroom processes.
But what’s more, we’ll navigate the expanding world of alternative and historical methods in film, exploring lith printing, liquid emulsions, contemporary tin-types, and caffeinol (coffee and caffeinated products that are used to develop and stain products). Prepare to create photographic imagery that is ethereal, rich, and romantic.

Winifred Westergard
Photography Studio Supervisor
Winifred Westergard is a Seattle based freelance photographer with accomplishments in documentary, portrait, wedding and fine art photography.
She holds degrees in Creative Writing, English Literature, Commercial Photography and Art from the University of Washington, Seattle Central Community College and Cornish College of the Arts. She has worked for the Cornish Photography program for 12 years.
