Explore or further your passion for silver based traditional photography in this week long intensive. This intensive will cover the world of the alternative process, drawing from the very beginnings of photography.

In this class we will experiment with alternative film development using common household products. We will make unique and personally expressive prints using Cyanotype and salted paper processes and we will use sensitized Liquid Emulsion to print photographic images on to a variety of materials including fabrics and fine art papers as well as organic materials like dried leaves and rose petals.
Students will be encouraged to “mix it up” using these different ideas as well as learning important elements of how to display the work. Special attention and information will be given on how students can continue film based art making after leaving the Cornish photography studio.
