The Puget Sound Blood Drive at Cornish will be taking place on Tuesday, March 17th (TODAY) in front of Main Campus Center.  The van will be operating from 9am-11:30 and 12:30-3pm.

Everyday, 2400-2700 blood transfusions are performed on patients in Western Washington.  In order to meet this demand from the medical community, Puget Sound Blood Center needs to college blood from at least 800-900 volunteer donors daily.

If you would like to donate blood this year contact, Amanda Graybill-Pennington (Wellness & Educational Program Coordinator), as soon as possible to be put on the schedule.  Drop-ins are welcome as well, but in order to by-pass the line, you must sign-up!

The entire process takes about one hour and includes a health check, giving blood and refreshments while relaxing in the canteen for about 10 minutes.  Remember to eat a healthy meal and drink fluids at least four hours prior to donating.
