Galleries & Performance Spaces

Cornish College of the Arts operates performance, exhibition, and event space at the Seattle Center, on Capitol Hill, and in the South Lake Union neighborhood. Availability of spaces for use by artistic organizations and other nonprofits is based on Cornish’s educational requirements and current contracts

Cornish Playhouse at Seattle Center

Cornish Playhouse at Seattle Center, 201 Mercer Street, was originally built for the 1962 World's Fair. The mid-century modern theater has served as the home for two Tony Award-winning Seattle companies, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Intiman Theatre, and currently provides performance space for Cornish student productions and college-produced events as well as more than 30 nonprofit organizations annually.

The Cornish Playhouse has multiple rental spaces for events of every size. Spaces available to rent include: Main Auditorium, Alhadeff Studio, Lobby,and  Founders Room. PONCHO Concert Hall at Kerry

PONCHO Concert Hall, 710 East Roy, is located within the historic landmark building Kerry Hall in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. This intimate venue is used for student recitals and music events as well as college-produced concerts. Availability is based on Cornish’s educational requirements and current contracts.

Main Gallery at Main Campus Center

The Cornish Main Gallery is a 2500-square-foot exhibition space located on the first floor of the Main Campus Center (MCC), 1000 Lenora Street. The Gallery is used for traditional art shows, video exhibitions, and more. This space is currently not available for rent.

Raisbeck Hall and Skinner Theater

​Built in 1915, Raisbeck Hall and the Skinner Theater inside are located at 2015 Boren Ave in South Lake Union. The space has been used for theater and dance productions as well as special events such as the Seattle International Dance Festival and Black Box Festival. Availability is based on Cornish’s educational requirements and current contracts.
