In addition to teaching at Cornish and The Bush School, Richard is the resident lighting designer at Seattle Musical Theatre (aka CLO), having designed lights for about forty productions, as well as sets for six. He has also designed several shows for Seattle Public Theatre, Taproot Theatre, Village Theatre-Kidstage, Village Originals, Sound Theatre Company and Broadway Bound. Prior to relocating in Seattle about a decade ago, he was the resident lighting designer & production manager for Honolulu Theatre for Youth for almost five years after spending ten years freelancing in NYC.
