  1. Day of Ideas Features opening conversation with David Shields, author of Reality Hunger: A Manifesto. A day of presentation, conversation, and experiences guaranteed to illuminate and inspire.

Cornish starts a new tradition this fall with Our Creative Society, a two day convening that celebrates and illuminates the integral role that creative thinking and being plays in healthy and progressive communities.

The goal of this year’s theme, Beyond Art. Creative Thinking in Contemporary Culture, is to broaden our collective conception of how creativity and artistry are practices that can interpreted for all realms of life. During the Day of Ideas, we will explore this theme within the framework of key focal points of public life including technology, science and civic life.
