Summer at Cornish Art + Design On View

Friday, July 15, Cornish College of the Arts is pleased to present an exhibition of Art and Design student work from Summer at Cornish 2011.

The exhibit will be open from 3 to 5 pm, in the Gallery on the first floor of Cornish’s Main Campus Center at 1000 Lenora St.

The Cornish Program in Art and Design is an exciting, three-week-long, intensive studio experience for students ages 15 to 18 who want to explore the visual arts in a professional art school setting. Participants immerse themselves in art–making and become part of a creative community, meeting and working with other talented artists from diverse backgrounds. These students have been working hard and wish to share their work with the Seattle community. We invite you to attend this one-evening exhibition to enjoy the art and support the emerging artists.

There are still spaces in the second session of our Art + Design summer courses, starting next week. Check out the Summer at Cornish website for details.
