Cornish Presents Two Chamber Music Concerts in October

Seattle, WA – For the second year in a row, Cornish College of the Arts will co-sponsor the Seattle International Piano Festival, an international classical piano competition held at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, along with master classes, clinics, and a special two piano performance presented at Cornish on October 9 & 11. The opening night concert of the Seattle International Piano Festival features works for two pianos performed by Ivona Kaminska, Peter Mack, Christopher Bowlby, and William Chapman Nyaho.

On October 30, Violist Mara Gearman (Faculty, Music Department) will present an inventive program of chamber music with pianist Jerrod Wendland, featuring works by Brahms, Shostakovich, and Claude Bolling.
