Seattle, WA – Cornish College of the Arts presents new works by Cornish student composers and choreographers on Thursday, May 6th at 8 pm at the Erickson Theater, 1524 Harvard Ave. in Seattle. Admission is free.

Works presented as part of this evening-length program represent a range of styles and approaches, from the site-specific to the improvised, from acoustic to electronic. These new works are the result of a semester-long exploration of the process of combining music and sound with contemporary dance. All artists are students of Cornish faculty members Jarrad Powell (composer) and Wade Madsen (choreographer).
Composers: Ian Huddleston, Kjell Nelson, Michael Moore, Jeff Bryant, Nathan Ossman, Dick Robinson, Alexander Jackson, Keith White, and Barry Snyder.
Choreographers: Abby Northcott, Alexander Betka, Amy Johnson, Autumn Oftedahl, Callie Swedberg, Christin Lusk, Danielle Hammer, Elissa Eskridge, Ian Randal, Kaitlin Keegan, Lavina Vago, Maia Lassen-Purser, Molly Sides, Sally Kreimendahl, Sarah Lustbader, and Ben Dominick.
