Cornish Invaded!

Cornish Invaded!

From Kerry Hall to the Main Campus Center, students, staff and faculty were treated to an “invasion” of Nick Cave’s Soundsuits, performed by students from Gretta Harley and Wade Madsen’s Interdisciplinary Arts Workshop. The “invasion” is one of many that are part of “Meet Me at the Center of the Earth,” Seattle Art Museum’s exhibition of Nick Cave’s wildly improbable beings made from unusual materials that don’t often get a second life: potholders, spinning tops, sequins, buttons and thrift store sweaters. The students will also perform during “Earth Day for Kids” on Saturday, April 16, 10 am to 3 pm at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Follow SAM on Facebook and Twitter for clues to other “invasions” by Cornish students and Spectrum Dance.
