In a recent juried design Student Portfolio Competition, Cornish Design senior Dong Il Lee was singled out for a prestigious Honorable Mention by the International Interior Design Association’s Northern Pacific Chapter, for his presentation of an office design combining motion graphics and sound.
While unable to award Lee scholarship funds, the jury was so impressed with his contribution to the competition they were compelled to offer him the position of Honorable Mention and introduce him onstage during the awards presentation in acknowledgment of his talents as a designer.
Lee is currently completing his last year in Cornish’s Interior Design program, where he has demonstrated an aptitude for creating well thought-out and informative designs. The Interior Design department at Cornish strives to give designers the tools they need to create valuable and relevant work; the Cornish community is proud of Lee’s achievements within the department and at the competition.
