City Arts

In City Arts magazine’s monthly visual arts column, "The Curator’s Eye” this month, writer Tim Appelo explores a very special family history in “The Murrow Tradition”. You probably already know Seattle artist Ethan Murrow – who creates fantastic lifelike illustrations (on display at Winston Wächter Fine Art through January) – and his grandfather, broadcaster Edward R. Murrow. But did you know that Ethan’s wife and model, Vita Weinstein-Murrow, is a Cornish grad? Also – on the City Arts Blog this month, blogger Heather Olsen interviewed director Katjana Vadeboncoeur about her exciting season of theatre that explores an uglier side of beauty (including the show at Cornish that just closed October 24).
